About the Support Group
This is a free virtual support group for parents, caregivers, or persons responsible for caring for teens showing signs of mental health challenges, including anxiety or depression. Connect with local parents experiencing similar challenges with their high school students. Tap into group wisdom and learn about local resources that are available to help.
This group meets every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, from 7:00 – 8:30 pm CST. Led by two NAMI Family Peer Group Facilitators.

About the Facilitators: Our meeting group facilitators are trained by the National Alliance on Mental Illness as Peer Leaders and are not licensed professionals.
NAMI CCNS is a grass roots organization and an affiliate of the NAMI National organization. Our affiliate was started in the early 1990’s by a group of family members who were all dealing with the challenges of loved ones with mental illness. They offered a Family to Family class and that was the beginning of our affiliate, which now serves over 17 communities in our catchment area.
