Our special guest speaker is Meg Kissinger, Wilmette native and award-winning journalist. Meg will be discussing growing up in the 60s and 70s on the North Shore with a family coping with mental illness issues – the basis for her best-selling new book: “While You Were Out: An Intimate Family Portrait of Mental Illness in an Era of Silence.” Meg will speak openly about her life, her family, the book and our community.
