Go Lime Green

Go Lime Green is an awareness initiative that brings communities together to promote mental health understanding. The campaign highlights the importance of compassion and visibility.

Go Lime Green is a mental health awareness program that educates and empowers students, families, and communities by normalizing conversations about mental health through awareness nights at high school athletic events across Northern Cook County.

Each event is customized to the host school and community and features a staffed resource table with mental health information, a banner for attendees to sign, and engaging giveaways.

Participating schools receive a framed certificate recognizing them as a “Mental Health Matters School” and take part in lead-up awareness activities, including PSAs from current and former professional athletes and NAMI’s Ending the Silence presentations.
